The Qatar Airways Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner was on display at the Farnborough Air Show 2024 this week. It’s a work of art.
Whilst this aircraft didn’t feature the QSuite per se, their alternative offering is still something to watch closely.
Without further ado, let’s get into it…
Qatar Airways Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner at the Farnborough Air Show 2024…
A7-BHQ was the Qatar Airways Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on display at the Farnborough Air Show 2024.
As per data from Planespotters.net, A7-BHQ is a 0.6 year old airframe that was delivered to the airline in December 2023.
However, the aircraft was stored in Doha until June 22, when the aircraft eventually entered commercial service.
The aircraft has 36 seats in what is known as “The Business Suite” in a 1-2-1 configuration.
Furthermore, via a 3-3-3 configuration, there are 281 seats in Economy Class.
Below is some imagery of inside the aircraft, and it is definitely a work of art:
On some of Qatar Airways’ aircraft, there is the QSuite, and on the other long-haul aircraft like the Boeing 787 Dreamliner seen at the Farnborough Air Show 2024, there are The Business Suites.
Both sides of the story complement each other very well in this regard, and there is strong consistency.
Overall Thoughts…
In conclusion, the offerings that the airline had on display this week were very strong and impressive.
The next exciting development for the carrier will be when the Boeing 777X is eventually delivered.
This is due to the fact that the aircraft will feature the brand new QSuite NextGen cabin, which looked incredible as well.
But for now, all eyes turn to 2025 to see how much further Qatar Airways can expand their offerings from what we have seen at the Farnborough Air Show 2024 this week on their Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
