Get ready for a flight with a touch of EXPO 2025! Japan Airlines (JAL) will take to the skies with a special livery on a Boeing 787-8 aircraft to celebrate the upcoming World Exposition in Osaka, Japan.
This unique design, featuring the Expo’s official mascot, MYAKU-MYAKU, will take flight on June 3rd, 2024.
It marks the second phase of JAL’s special livery series, following the introduction of a decorated Embraer 190 operated by J-AIR.
MYAKU-MYAKU Jet
The “JAL MYAKU-MYAKU JET” aims to capture the imagination of both domestic and international travelers.
It is already sparking interest in EXPO 2025 , to be held in Yumeshima, Osaka, from April 13 to October 13, 2025. The hope is to inspire people to explore the diverse destinations Japan has to offer.
Imagine spotting this special aircraft as you taxi down the runway. It is a vibrant symbol of innovation and the wonders that await at EXPO 2025.
Keep an eye on the JAL website for specific launch dates and flight schedules. Additionally, JAL plans to introduce a third special livery aircraft dedicated to domestic flights in the future.
