Lufthansa is seeking to raise the bar for premium air travel with the launch of its revolutionary Allegris cabin interior.

The Allegris First Class cabin will make its appearance in the summer timetable on flights from Munich to San Francisco, Chicago, San Diego, Shanghai and Bengaluru.

Travelers can additionally enjoy the new cabin product in Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class on flights to New York-Newark (from mid-April), and from the beginning of August, also to Charlotte

The First Class suites and comprehensive service enhancements across all travel classes promise an unparalleled experience for passengers on long-haul flights.

Allegris First Class: A Sanctuary in the Sky

The Allegris First Class experience is a masterclass in luxury, offering passengers unprecedented levels of privacy and comfort. Lufthansa’s CEO, Jens Ritter gives comment.

“We are completely reinventing the Lufthansa First Class travel experience with Allegris and making it even more exclusive.” This vision translates into reality with the introduction of two individual suites and the groundbreaking Suite Plus.

Imagine stepping into your own private haven, complete with ceiling-high walls and a lockable door. The individual suites boast adjustable seat heating and cooling, ensuring personalized comfort.

A spacious table, a 43-inch entertainment screen, and wireless “over-ear” headphones create an immersive and indulgent environment. Generous storage, including a personal wardrobe, allows for seamless organization, while customizable lighting sets the perfect ambiance.

The Suite Plus, a double cabin, offers the ultimate in flexible luxury. Whether you’re traveling as a couple and desire a comfortable double bed or as a solo traveler seeking expansive space, this suite adapts to your needs. This “flying private room” redefines exclusivity, offering a unique and memorable travel experience.

Lufthansa is not just elevating the in-flight experience; they are also enhancing the ground experience. Renovated First Class check-in areas in Frankfurt and Munich, and a redesigned First Class Lounge in Munich, ensure a seamless and luxurious journey from start to finish.

Enhancements for Every Class

Lufthansa’s commitment to excellence extends beyond First Class, with significant improvements for all passengers. From mid-April, travelers can experience the new cabin products in Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class on flights to New York-Newark.

This will extend to Charlotte from August. Furthermore, the Allegris First Class cabin is available on flights from Munich to San Francisco, Chicago, San Diego, Shanghai, and Bengaluru.

To enhance the baggage experience, Lufthansa now offers an innovative collection and check-in service from Frankfurt. Additionally, passengers can leverage Apple AirTag location functionality for seamless baggage tracking.

From the summer, unlimited free chatting will be available on intercontinental flights, allowing passengers to stay connected with ease.

Lufthansa’s “Future Onboard Experience” initiative is transforming the entire long-haul journey. This includes a comprehensive overhaul of culinary offerings, tableware, pillows, blankets, amenity kits, and onboard service.

The upgraded service is set to debut in time for Lufthansa’s 100th anniversary, promising a refined and memorable experience for all.

Business Class and frequent flyers will also benefit from numerous enhancements. A new catering concept on short and medium-haul flights offers greater variety and innovative menus.

Lounges in Newark and London Heathrow have been completely redesigned, with renovations planned for 30 more lounges this year.

Fleet Transformation: Bringing Allegris to the Skies

Lufthansa’s dedication to innovation is further demonstrated by the rapid deployment of the Allegris cabin. Since February, nine A350-900s, including eight with the new First Class, have joined the fleet.

Nearly half a million passengers have already enjoyed the new cabin interiors. This year, Lufthansa will begin retrofitting its existing fleet, starting with the Boeing 747-8, ensuring that more passengers can experience the future of air travel.

Lufthansa’s Allegris cabin represents a significant leap forward in air travel, offering unparalleled comfort, luxury, and service. Whether you’re flying First Class or Economy, Lufthansa is committed to elevating your journey and redefining your expectations.
