If you are an England fan and want to see the EUROS 2024 quarter final against Switzerland this weekend, Ryanair has added extra flights for the occasion.
The Irish low-cost carrier has placed these additional flights out of their London Stansted operation.
Without further ado, let’s get into it…
The Extra Ryanair Flights for the EUROS 2024 England vs Switzerland Quarter Final…
The quarter final of the EUROS 2024 between England and Switzerland takes place on July 6.
Ryanair on July 1 introduced additional flights from London Stansted to Cologne and Dusseldorf ahead of this.
The Cologne flight will depart on July 5.
The Dusseldorf flight departing on July 6, the same day as the game.
The Irish low-cost carrier didn’t specify exactly how many flights extra this will amount to.
So it may be wise to check the Ryanair website to see if any tickets are left.
Kirwan: Unprecedented Demand…
Commenting on the additional flights for the EUROS 2024 quarter final between England and Switzerland was Ryanair Head of Comms, Jade Kirwan:
“It’s been an epic summer of football so far and to celebrate England’s Quarter Final success, Ryanair has added extra flights from Stansted to Cologne and Dortmund so that more fans can make it to the iconic Düsseldorf Arena to see England take on Switzerland this Saturday.”
“These extra flights are available now, but are expected to sell out quickly, so avoid disappointment and book now at ryanair.com.”
The airline has stated that due to unprecedented demand for flights, this is why more have been added from London Stansted.
Overall…
In conclusion, the unprecedented demand for Ryanair for flights to the EUROS 2024 tournament is good news on the revenue side.
Furthermore, it is also good news for England fans who wish to travel to Switzerland.
As the tournament progresses, the airline will no doubt continue to add more flights.
The Irish low-cost carrier has been known to cater for these sorts of events before.
If England progress against Switzerland and get to the semi-final, then Ryanair will no doubt do the same thing again.
But for now, all eyes will go to Saturday as the Three Lions take on the Swiss in a thriller.
