Etihad Cargo, the logistics division of Etihad Airways, will add Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to its growing network starting January 7, 2025.
The new weekly service will boost cargo capacity by over 100 tonnes, making Paris the carrier’s 12th freighter destination.
The Paris freighter route will cater to growing industry demand, offering tailored solutions for general cargo, pharmaceuticals, perishables, automotive shipments, and cultural cargo.
This expansion reflects Etihad Cargo’s dedication to enhancing global connectivity and serving customer needs in one of Europe’s most strategic markets.
New Abu Dhabi-Paris Freight Operation
The new service will operate through Abu Dhabi, creating vital main deck connections to major Asian hubs including Ezhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Hanoi, and Zhengzhou.
Customers will benefit from an extensive Chinese trucking network, enabling broader market access throughout the region.
The service also offers same day connections across Etihad’s wide and narrow body fleet. This ensures quick delivery for time critical shipments and providing enhanced flexibility for global supply chains.
Strengthening Specialized Shipping Network
This Paris route significantly strengthens Etihad Cargo’s specialized shipping solutions across multiple sectors. It enhances capacity for general cargo to a number of destinations. These include Riyadh, Jakarta, and Manila, meeting growing demand in these key markets.
The service supports pharmaceutical transport through PharmaLife to Mumbai, Jakarta, Seoul, and Sydney. This ensures temperature controlled delivery of sensitive medical supplies.
Additionally, it improves perishables delivery via FreshForward to Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, and Sharjah, maintaining product freshness throughout the journey.
Customers can also access specialized services like LiveAnimals for safe animal transportation. SkyStables provides professional equine transport, FlightValet for luxury automotive shipments, and FlyCulture for valuable cultural items.
These tailored solutions demonstrate Etihad Cargo’s commitment to meeting specific industry requirements and handling specialized cargo with expertise.
