Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national carrier, has welcomed the sixth Airbus A350 to its fleet.

The cutting-edge widebody aircraft touched down this weekend after a smooth delivery flight from Toulouse, France.

This addition cements Etihad’s reputation for operating one of the youngest, most fuel-efficient fleets in the skies. The A350 aligns with its vision of delivering exceptional travel experiences while prioritizing environmental responsibility.

A350 Comfort and Class

The Airbus A350 is a passenger favorite, offering unmatched comfort and innovation. In Business Class, travelers enjoy privacy with sliding doors, wireless charging stations, and state-of-the-art inflight entertainment systems.

Economy Class is equally impressive, featuring ergonomic seats, device holders, and Bluetooth-enabled entertainment for seamless connectivity. These thoughtful amenities ensure every journey is relaxing and enjoyable, whether for business or leisure.

A standout feature of the A350 is its sustainability. As one of the most efficient wide-body aircraft, it produces 25% fewer CO2 emissions and a 50% smaller noise footprint than older models.

Its lightweight design, powered by advanced Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, optimizes fuel efficiency without compromising performance. This aligns with Etihad’s broader sustainability goals, including achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Deployment on Long-Haul Network

The A350-1000’s long-range capabilities make it a versatile addition to Etihad’s network. This summer, the airline will deploy the aircraft on its new route to Atlanta, marking its sixth North American destination.

The A350 will also support Etihad’s ambitious expansion, with 16 new routes planned for 2025. Other destinations served by the A350 include major cities like London, Chicago, and Toronto, showcasing its role in connecting Abu Dhabi to the world.

Etihad’s A350 fleet is part of a larger order for 25 aircraft, with more deliveries expected in the coming years. Each aircraft is equipped with the airline’s signature interiors, blending luxury with functionality.

The A350’s operational flexibility allows Etihad to optimize schedules, offering passengers more choices while maintaining high standards of service.

By integrating the A350, Etihad continues to redefine air travel. Its blend of passenger comfort, innovative technology, and eco-conscious design sets a benchmark for the industry.
