Etihad Airways has this week celebrated the launch of new flights between Abu Dhabi and Denpasar in Bali.
The airline continues on it’s strategy of significant route growth during this busy Summer season.

The New Abu Dhabi-Denpasar, Bali Flights with Etihad Airways…
Etihad Airways launched the new flights between Abu Dhabi and Denpasar, Bali on June 25.
The route is being operated by the airline’s flagship Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner which features:
- 28 seats in Business.
- 262 seats in Economy.
Furthermore, these new flights operate on a four times per week basis, and complements existing services to Jakarta.
Denpasar, Bali is one of the eight destinations that Etihad Airways is launching from Abu Dhabi in June.
They are also launching flights to:
- Jaipur
- Al Qassim
- Nice
- Antalya
- Mykonos
- Santorini
- Malaga
So the new flights between Abu Dhabi & Denpasar, Bali with Etihad Airways highlights the busy month they are having with growth.

Commenting on the route inaugural was Etihad Airways Chief Revenue & Commercial Officer, Arik De:
“I am honoured to be welcomed to the island today and proud to bring a full flight on our inaugural journey into Bali”.
“We are thrilled to add Bali to the growing list of destinations we serve directly from Abu Dhabi.”
“It becomes our second destination in Indonesia, adding to the capital Jakarta.”
“We look forward to connecting our guests from the Middle East, Europe and across our global network with the Indonesian tropical island.”

In conclusion, these new flights between Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Denpasar, Bali with Etihad Airways is another example of their growth this month.
For May 2024, Etihad Airways handled 1.5m passengers, an increase of 400,000 passengers compared to the same period last year.
Year to date totals right now stand at 7.2m passengers, which is two million passengers higher than in YTD 2023.
Load factors remain steady in the 84-85% area, despite growing their fleet by 15 aircraft to 90 in the last 12 months.
With these new flights, the numbers can only go up for an airline like the AUH-based carrier.
All eyes will be on how the new Abu Dhabi-Denpasar, Bali flights perform.
If they perform strongly, then there could be scope to expand the frequencies beyond four weekly.
