This development marks Vienna as the fourth European destination to receive the airline’s upgraded four-class aircraft.

Premium Travel Experience

Emirates’ Premium Economy offers 24 seats in a 2-4-2 layout, featuring 6-way adjustable headrests that provide enhanced comfort for both business and leisure travelers. This configuration ensures ample space and personalized comfort for passengers seeking a premium yet affordable travel option.

Redesigned Business Class

The new Business Class draws inspiration from Emirates’ iconic A380 design, creating an elegant and contemporary travel environment. Passengers can enjoy soft leather cream seats with champagne trim, lighter wood panelling, and an integrated mini bar.

The 40 seats are designed with direct aisle access, and each seat converts to a flatbed extending to 78.6 inches. A standout feature is the massive 23-inch HD entertainment screen, providing an immersive in flight entertainment experience.

Fleet Modernization Milestone

As part of its largest fleet retrofit project, Emirates has already upgraded ten Boeing 777 aircraft. These modernized widebody aircraft currently serve destinations including Geneva, Zurich, Brussels, Haneda, Riyadh, Kuwait, Dammam, and Chicago.

This furthers the airline’s commitment to continuous improvement and passenger experience.

Two Decades of Austrian Service

Emirates has been a consistent presence in Austria since 2004, demonstrating its long-term dedication to the market. Over the past two decades, the airline has operated two daily flights between Dubai and Vienna, offering more than 1,000 daily seats.

This commitment is reflected in the transportation of more than 5 Million passengers across approximately 20,500 flights. Additionally, Emirates has moved nearly 250,000 tonnes of freight in the last decade.

The airline continues to strengthen its Austrian connections through ongoing cabin crew recruitment and by supporting local talent in its global operations.

This approach not only enhances the airline’s operational capabilities but also creates meaningful economic and professional opportunities for Austrian professionals.
