Emirates is set to broaden its Airbus A350 deployment, announcing the next seven cities to welcome its state-of-the-art widebody aircraft.
This expansion marks a significant step in the airline’s strategy to enhance its short to medium-haul routes, particularly within the Middle East, GCC, and Europe.
Notably, this deployment will introduce the Emirates A350 to Africa and Southeast Asia for the very first time, offering travelers unparalleled comfort and cutting-edge technology.
Strategic A350 Deployment
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates Airline, emphasized the strategic importance of this expansion. “Our strategic A350 deployment across diverse regions leverages the aircraft’s operational efficiency and flexibility,” he stated.

“This allows us to offer more customers premium travel options and the chance to experience our latest cabin innovations. This includes Business Class and Premium Economy, now available in more cities than ever before.”
He further added, “Introducing this aircraft and integrating it into existing schedules strengthens Emirates’ competitive edge. It positions us as the preferred airline for discerning travelers seeking unique connectivity and elevated onboard experiences.”
New Destinations
The newly delivered Emirates A350 aircraft will commence scheduled operations to the following destinations:
Tunis: Starting June 1st, Emirates will operate the A350 six times weekly (excluding Tuesdays) on flights EK 747/748.
Amman: From June 1st, daily flights EK 905/906 will be served by the A350.
Istanbul: Beginning July 1st, Istanbul will welcome the A350 with daily operations on flights EK 117/118.
Dammam: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will see its first A350 service from July 1st on flights EK 827/828.
Ho Chi Minh City: Southeast Asia will experience the A350 from August 1st with daily flights EK 364/365.
Baghdad: Starting August 3rd, Emirates will operate the A350 three times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays) on flights EK 941/942.
Oslo: From September 1st, Oslo will experience the A350 with daily flights EK 159/160.


Increased Flight Frequencies
In addition to these new destinations, Emirates will increase A350 services to Bahrain and Kuwait. Bahrain will see a near-complete A350 operation with a third daily flight, EK 835/836, from June 1st.
Kuwait will gain a second daily A350 flight, EK 857/858, from October 1st. Furthermore, Bologna will now receive its first A350 service on June 1st, a month earlier than previously announced.
A350 Cabin Comfort and Technology
The Emirates A350 boasts three spacious cabin classes, designed to provide a premium passenger experience. The aircraft accommodates 312 passengers, featuring:
- 32 next-generation Business Class lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, complete with a mini-bar.
- 21 Premium Economy seats, offering enhanced comfort and space.
- 259 generously pitched Economy Class seats.


Emirates’ commitment to passenger comfort extends beyond seating. The A350 incorporates cutting-edge technology, including:
- Wireless charging in Business Class.
- Electric window blinds with the Emirates Ghaf tree motif in premium classes.
- New touchscreen call bell buttons on ice inflight entertainment screens.
- Digital inflight menus on ice screens.
- 60-watt USB C charging in every seat, with dual Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones.
- The Next generation Ice inflight entertainment system with 4k and 4k HDR screens.
The airline’s next-generation ice inflight entertainment system provides cinematic displays and ultra-responsive touchscreens, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience.
