The enhanced schedule offers travelers an unprecedented range of appealing vacation spots, reinforcing the airline’s position as Switzerland’s leading leisure carrier.
Summer 2025: New Destinations
The airline’s ambitious expansion includes exciting additions to both short and long-haul routes. The North American market welcomes two major additions: Seattle, with twice-weekly flights launching June 2, and Halifax, Nova Scotia, offering bi-weekly services from July 3.
The European network grows with the addition of Tbilisi, Georgia’s historic capital, serving passengers twice weekly from April 12, while Bristol joins as a key UK destination with twice-weekly flights commencing June 2.
Island destinations feature prominently in the expansion, with new services to the pristine Terceira in the Azores (weekly from June 25), the coastal gem of Zadar, Croatia (twice weekly from June 28), and the picturesque Calvi in Corsica (weekly from July 6).
Mediterranean and Atlantic Destinations See Major Boost
The Mediterranean region receives particular attention from Edelweiss, with enhanced connectivity to Sardinia, featuring new daily flights to both Olbia and Cagliari, offering travelers flexible access to the island’s stunning beaches and rich culture.
Portuguese destinations also benefit from substantial service improvements. Faro receives up to six weekly flights and Madeira enjoys up to eight weekly connections.
The Azores service expansion brings up to three weekly flights to Ponta Delgada alongside the new Terceira route, opening up these Atlantic paradise islands to more visitors.
Southeastern Europe gains significant additional capacity with Pristina receiving at least two daily flights, while Tivat and Varna see three and two weekly flights respectively.
Croatia’s connectivity improves dramatically with daily Split service and twice-weekly flights to both Pula and Zadar, catering to the growing demand for Adriatic coastal destinations.
Strengthened British and Nordic Connections
Edelweiss’ presence in the UK market will increase with up to ten weekly Edinburgh flights and the strategic addition of Bristol.
Nordic destinations receive special attention with new Friday morning services to Akureyri, Iceland, opening up access to the country’s northern wonders. New connections to Kittilä, Finland, and optimized flight times to Tromsø, Norway, enhance the airline’s northern European presence.
Expanded North American and African Presence
Long-haul services to North America see substantial growth, with Tampa Bay operating up to five times weekly. Las Vegas maintains up to three weekly flights, transitioning to the new state-of-the-art Airbus A350 from mid-May, promising enhanced comfort for passengers.
