easyJet has unveiled a service expansion for summer 2025, introducing 26 new routes across its network.
The announcement includes 21 routes from ten UK airports, with a historic addition – the airline’s first-ever flights to Sal, Cape Verde. The expansion further broadens easyJet’s diverse range of travel options for UK passengers.
Launch of Cape Verde Flights
Making history for easyJet, Cape Verde will become their first Sub-Saharan African destination. Flights from London Gatwick to this tropical paradise will begin on March 31, 2025, operating three times weekly throughout summer.
The convenient Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule provides flexible options for both short breaks and longer holidays.
These sun-soaked islands, situated off Africa’s western coast, represent an interesting addition to easyJet’s growing network. For UK travelers planning their summer getaways, Cape Verde offers an appealing long-haul option with its year-round warm climate and stunning beaches.
