easyJet High Fives Birmingham, Launching 5 New Routes

easyJet has now launched five new routes to Marrakesh, Reykjavik, Hurghada, Prague, and Krakow from Birmingham Airport (BHX).

Birmingham travelers can now enjoy five exciting new destinations as easyJet launches routes to Marrakesh, Reykjavik, Hurghada, Prague, and Krakow from Birmingham Airport.

This significant expansion marks a milestone in the airline’s presence in the Midlands region. The expansion will mean more travel options at competitive prices for Midlands residents. The new routes will connecting them to both warm-weather escapes and cultural capitals.

New Services at Birmingham BHX


Marrakesh

Flights to the vibrant city of Marrakesh began on 6 November, operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout winter. This Moroccan destination offers travelers a perfect blend of exotic markets, historic architecture, and year-round sunshine.

Reykjavik

The Reykjavik service launched this week on 12 November, with flights now running Tuesdays and Saturdays during the winter season. Iceland’s capital provides an ideal base for witnessing the Northern Lights. Travelers can also explore the country’s stunning natural wonders, from geothermal springs to dramatic glaciers.

Hurghanda & Prague

Hurghada and Prague services commenced yesterday, with Wednesday flights to both destinations. Prague gains an additional Sunday service, offering flexibility for weekend city breaks.

Hurghada becomes easyJet’s second Egyptian destination from Birmingham. It presents perfect winter sun opportunities with its Red Sea beaches and world-class diving sites.

The historic Czech capital of Prague attracts visitors year-round with its stunning architecture, rich cultural scene, and famous Christmas markets during winter months.

Krakow

The new Krakow route, launching Friday 15 November, will operate daily throughout the year. This Polish cultural gem offers travelers a mix of medieval charm, modern Polish cuisine, and important historical sites.

Strong Demand in Midlands Region


These new routes reflect strong customer demand in the Midlands region. Since establishing its Birmingham base in March 2024, easyJet has introduced 22 new routes, bringing its total Birmingham offerings to 33 European destinations.

EasyJet holidays enhances these flight options with comprehensive package deals. Their holiday packages include flights and hotel accommodation, a generous 23kg luggage allowance, and transfer services for beach holidays.

All packages are protected by the company’s Ultimate Flexibility guarantee, offering customers the freedom to change bookings, receive refunds if needed, and benefit from best price guarantees.

City break packages are available for booking until March 31, 2026, featuring the same benefits as beach holidays. This extended booking window gives travelers plenty of time to plan future trips while securing current competitive prices.
