Over 200 flights from easyJet to Portugal will be cancelled due to strike action, which will take place between August 15 (today) and August 17.
Information has been released pertinent to the disruption at hand, with thousands of passengers expected to be affected.

Strike Action Affecting easyJet Flights in Portugal…
As per The Portugal News, it is understood that a total of 232 easyJet flights in Portugal will be affected by strike action.
In a note sent to Lusa, it is understood the airline has said the following on this:
“Due to this unnecessary strike action, easyJet had to cancel some flights in its program.”
However, the airline plans to operate 62% of its flight program in Portugal during the strike period”.
“Between 15, 16, and 17 August, we were planning 1,138 flights to and from Portugal, but we had to cancel 232 flights due to the strike.”
“This means that, to and from Portugal, we are planning to fly 906 flights”.
The strike action is being organised by The National Union of Civil Aviation Staff in Portugal.
Passengers Disrupted & Re-Booked…
Passengers on the 232 affected cancelled easyJet flights in and out of Portugal have been affected by this.
The airline has advised customers travelling to and from the country during the strike period for more information.
Customers have been offered either a refund or the ability to rebook onto the next available flight.
It is key to note that 62% of the originally scheduled flights that touchdown in Portugal are still expected to go ahead as planned.

Overall, this strike action impacting easyJet operations in Portugal is expected to cause disruption to thousands of passengers.
Moreover, all eyes will be on whether the 232 slated figure will increase throughout the strike period.
