Key Market Dynamics

DXB’s success can be attributed to its strong connectivity with key international markets. India remains the airport’s top destination country, with a remarkable 6.1 million passengers.

The gradual but certain resurgence of markets such as China has also played a crucial role. Chinese traffic exceeded 1 million passengers in H12024 – an 80% year-on-year growth and a 90% recovery compared to pre-pandemic levels.

Other significant markets contributing to DXB’s rising performance include Saudi Arabia (3.7 million guests), and the United Kingdom (2.9 million). Not far behind are Pakistan (2.3 million), the United States (1.7 million), Russia (1.3 million), and Germany (1.3 million).

This diverse mix of established and growing markets underscores DXB’s growing global appeal. It plays and increasing role as a crucial link in international travel and trade.
