Video has emerged of a disgraceful moment from a passenger who punches a member of United Airlines staff at Washington Dulles International Airport in DC.
Information has emerged following the horrendous incident.
Actions have already been taken against this passenger following the punching incident.
United Airlines Punches United Airlines Staff…
The video from Washington DC highlights a Maryland resident known as Christopher Stuart Crittenden.
It is understood his flight was allegedly canceled, with Mr. Crittenden booked onto another United Airlines flight.
Moreover, it is also unclear what flight he was supposed to be on as well.
Furthermore, he attempted to walk onto the jet bridge on Gate D12 as passengers were deboarding.
From there, an unidentified United Airlines employee got in the way of him, trying to stop him from gaining access.
As a result of that, Mr. Crittenden then proceeds to punch him, with the employee falling to the ground.
Following the punches, the video then ends, with authorities then clearing up what happened thereafter.
Action Taken By Authorities in Washington DC…

It is understood that after the passenger punches the United Airlines staff, he is then arrested by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police in DC.
Furthermore, he has been charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
On top of this, the airline has banned him from flying on any of their flights in the future.
Following the publication of the video, it has gone viral, with many commenting on the nature of this over social media.
“He should be banned from every airline in the country. This needs to stop”, one person posted on X.
Another said: “Man I feel so bad for that gate agent Gate agents get it the worst This is also the reason I avoid major airports as much as possible.”
This incident is yet another in dozens of cases that have happened in the U.S over the last few years.
What Next?

In terms of what comes next, this is now in the authority of the police and courts.
Following the punches made by the passenger on United Airlines staff in Washington DC, it is likely that the passenger will be sentenced or fined.
The video evidence will no doubt play a part in securing a conviction by the authorities.
At this stage, it is unclear when the passenger is expected in court to face these charges.
But one thing is for sure: This behaviour continues to happen and shouldn’t be tolerated.
The FAA hasn’t commented on this particular incident, but it will be interesting to see if they have any further insight regarding this.
What should now be debated is whether the punishment needs to be harsher when in an environment like airports.
