Delta flight DL927 is to the north-east of Jefferson City at 9,800 feet. The aircraft is continuing to descend at this stage.
ADS-B data shows a rapid descent from FL410 to FL100 in a matter of minutes, indicating a potential depressurisation event onboard the aircraft.

Furthermore, N550NW is understood to be the aircraft involved in today’s incident.
As per Planespotters, N550NW is a 23.1 year old Boeing 757-200 that started out life with Northwest Airlines in June 2001.
Moreover, following the merger with DL, the aircraft was transferred to it’s current register in October 2008.

Data from RadarBox states that DL927 will be diverting to St. Louis, Missouri as a result of this emergency declaration.
