In the last few moments, a Delta Air Lines Boeing 767 from New York declared an emergency during it’s descent into Paris CDG.
Information is limited surrounding the incident, but below is what we know so far on this.

Emergency!: Delta Air Lines Flight DL266 New York-Paris…
Delta Air Lines flight DL266, which declared an emergency, is a routine scheduled flight between New York JFK & Paris CDG.
Also, N829MH is understood to be the aircraft involved in the incident.
As per data from Planespotters.net, N829MH is a 23.9 year old Boeing 767-400ER that was delivered to the airline in August 2000.
Of the 767-400 variant, Delta Air Lines has 21 of them in their fleet.
Moreover, other aircraft in the mainline fleet consist of:
- 71 Airbus A220 Family aircraft.
- 57 Airbus A319s.
- 59 Airbus A320s.
- 188 Airbus A321 Family aircraft.
- 70 Airbus A330 Family aircraft.
- 30 Airbus A350 Family aircraft.
- 88 Boeing 717s.
- 240 Boeing 737 Family aircraft.
- 121 Boeing 757 Family aircraft.
- 43 Boeing 767-300s.
Delta Air Lines flight DL266, which declared an emergency, departed New York JFK at 0847 local time this morning and tracked towards Paris CDG.
It is understood that the 7700 squawk code was broadcast during it’s descent into the French airport.
From there, an emergency direct towards the airport was made, where the aircraft landed without further incident at 2122 local time.
Reason Unclear At This Time…
At this stage, the reason for the emergency is not yet known onboard Delta Air Lines flight DL266 New York-Paris.
As soon as we get more information pertinent to the cause, then we will update you accordingly.
