Corporación América Airports S.A. (CAAP) has reported a year-on-year decrease in passenger traffic of 8.9% in June 2024. Or, a decrease of 6.7% if Natal in Brazil is excluded.

- Total Passengers – 6,188,000 this is a drop by 20.3% when compared to June 2023.
- Domestic – 3,039,000 this is an increase of 9.4% when compared to June 2023.
- International – 2,595,000 this is a drop by 9.1% when compared to June 2023.
- Transit – 554,000 this is a drop by 8.9% when compared to June 2023.
- Cargo Volume – 30,500 tons, this is an increase of 4.3% when compared to June 2023.
- Aircraft Movements – 65,300 this is a drop by 10.5% when compared to June 2023.
For Argentina, their total passenger traffic had dropped by 14.1% year-on-year due to a weakening domestic sector.
For Italy, they saw an increase of 15.2% when compared to June 2023. Of which 80% of the total traffic was international travellers.
For Brazil, their total passenger traffic had dropped by 14.9% year-on-year due to the closure of Natal Airport. Or, a decrease of 4.4% if Natal is excluded.
Uruguay saw an increase of 21.1% due to the continued recovery of international travel.
Ecuador saw a decrease of 6.6% year-on-year, this was primarily due to a weakening domestic sector, much like Argentina.
Armenia saw a decrease of 4.8% year-on-year.
