Cornwall Airport Newquay welcomed passengers on the first flight with warm Cornish hospitality, offering a complimentary cream tea from local favorite Trewithen Dairy. In true Cornish fashion, the jam was spread first on the scones, adhering to local tradition!

The newly established weekly route, operating throughout the summer holidays, creates a direct connection between Guernsey and Cornwall.

This service offers travelers a convenient and picturesque escape option, strengthening ties between the Channel Islands and Cornwall.

Upon arrival, Cornwall Airport Newquay staff greeted passengers with genuine Cornish hospitality and served them a delightful cream tea, showcasing the best of local traditions

Aurigny operates an ATR 72-600 aircraft on its new Newquay route. This aircraft is renowned for its fuel efficiency and low CO2 emissions.

The regional twin turboprop offers a cruising speed of up to 270 knots and a range of approximately 825 miles. The ATR 72-600 is well-suited for regional flights, offering comfort and reliability to passengers.
