Coming to London Heathrow: The Japan Airlines Airbus A350-1000!

Japan Airlines has this week revealed that they will be bringing the Airbus A350-1000 to London Heathrow very soon.

Information has been released about this by the Japanese carrier, alongside some announcements regarding their Winter 2024 schedule.

Japan Airlines & The Airbus A350-1000 Flights to London Heathrow…


Japan Airlines has this week revealed that they will be bringing the Airbus A350-1000 to London Heathrow very soon.

On bringing the Airbus A350-1000, Japan Airlines said the following on this in their Winter 2024 update:

“The Airbus A350-1000 aircraft will be introduced on the Haneda-London route (JL43/44) in the fall of 2024.”

“The start date will be announced once decided.”

Furthermore, Japan Airlines also plans to operate the Airbus A350-1000 to New York on a twice-daily basis from August 14 and Dallas Fort-Worth daily from August 23.

As well as the announcement regarding the Airbus A350-1000 into London Heathrow, Japan Airlines has made the following other announcements for the Winter 2024 schedule:

  • The airline will be increasing the following flights:
    • Tokyo Narita-Jakarta – Increasing from 11x weekly to 13x weekly.
    • Narita-Bengaluru – Increasing from 3x weekly to 5x weekly.
    • Narita-Melbourne – Increasing from 3x weekly to 6x weekly.
    • Resuming Narita-Shanghai Pudong services – Operating on a 7x weekly.
    • Narita-Taipei – Resuming the seasonal 14x weekly service.
    • Narita-Guam – Increasing from 5x weekly to 7x weekly.
    • Kansai-Shanghai Pudong – Increasing from 3x weekly to 7x weekly.
    • Nagoya-Shanghai Pudong – Increasing from 5x weekly to 7x weekly.
    • Resuming seasonal Nagoya-Taipei flights on a 5x weekly.

Such news from Japan Airlines, alongside the announcement of bringing the new Airbus aircraft to London Heathrow, highlights the growth the airline is experiencing internationally.
