Aerocardal, the Chile-based air ambulance, charter, and cargo services provider, has officially inducted the Czech-built turboprop L 410 NG aircraft into operational service.
The Czech-built aircraft has completed an extensive showcase tour, making an appearance at the NBAA-BACE event in Las Vegas recently. It then visited multiple South American locations before landing at its new home in Santiago International Airport.
The company marked this achievement with a special launch event featuring key industry figures. This included OMNIPOL Group’s Deputy Commercial Director Petr Holoubek and Aircraft Industries’ Commercial Manager Tomas Novak.
Guests at the ceremony got to explore the aircraft’s features first-hand while celebrating Aerocardal’s latest step in regional aviation advancement.
Advanced Features for L 410 NG
Building on the success of its predecessor, the L 410 UVP-E20, the new L 410 NG offers improved range and cargo space with bigger storage compartments.
Its modern Garmin G3000 glass cockpit makes it stand out as a top choice for reliable and cost-effective air transport.
The aircraft has a strong adaptability, and boasts a 45,000-hour service life. It easily switches between passenger transport, cargo handling, military operations, and medical evacuations across challenging terrains – from tundra to jungle. This flexibility makes it particularly valuable for Latin America’s diverse geography.
New Regional Partnership
Aerocardal’s role has expanded beyond just operating the aircraft. They are now the official sales partner for L 410 NG and other OMNIPOL Group products across selected South and Central American markets. This partnership further strengthens their position as a regional aviation leader.
“Adding the L 410 NG and partnering with OMNIPOL Group marks a crucial step forward for Aerocardal,” says Ricardo Real, the company’s CEO. “We’re excited to offer our customers this versatile, high-tech solution that meets our region’s unique demands.”
OMNIPOL Group’s Petr Holoubek adds: “Working with Aerocardal to expand the L 410 NG’s presence in South and Central America makes perfect sense. Their deep market knowledge and experience make them ideal partners for achieving our regional goals.”
