Çelebi Aviation, Türkiye’s pioneering private ground handling company, has significantly expanded its global footprint by securing a strategic partnership with Turkish Airlines in Tanzania.
Starting 1 December 2024, the company will provide comprehensive ground handling and passenger services for nine weekly Turkish Airlines flights at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
This marks Çelebi Aviation’s most substantial operational venture in Africa. The company has an impressive legacy spanning over 65 years across three continents, six countries, and 70 global stations.
Having integrated Tanzania into its international network in 2021, the company continues to make substantial strides in global expansion. The agreement with Turkish Airlines represents a pivotal milestone in their African strategic development.
First African Widebody Operation
