A Ceiba Intercontinental Boeing 737-800 has overrun the runway while landing at Malabo, Equatorial Guinea during poor weather conditions on 29 August 2024.
Ceiba Intercontinental flight C2205, a Boeing 737-800 arriving from Bata, had made an approach to RWY04 Malabo International Airport (SSG). During the subsequent landing roll, the aircraft overran the overshoot end of the active runway. As a result, it came to a stop with all landing gear on soft ground, causing the nose gear to sink in.
