Breeze Airways, a leading low-cost carrier focused on premium leisure travel, is expanding its service this spring.
The airline will begin flying to three new cities: Rochester and Albany, New York, and Memphis, Tennessee. This expansion includes 19 new routes, comprised of 13 non-stop flights and six one-stop BreezeThru routes (no plane change).
Expansion Follows a Successful Year in 2024
“Our growth in 2024 was remarkable, thanks to our city partners and dedicated team members,” said David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ founder and CEO.
“We aim to continue this momentum. We see significant demand and opportunity for our premium product in secondary markets. We’re thrilled to welcome Rochester, Albany, and Memphis to our network.”
This announcement follows Breeze’s recent report of its first profitable quarter in Q4 2024. The airline achieved a 4% operating margin, driven by strong demand for its unique approach.
Breeze focuses on connecting underserved secondary airports with direct flights, utilizing its modern Airbus A220 fleet – one of the industry’s youngest and most efficient. The airline believes hundreds more U.S. routes could benefit from its service, indicating substantial growth potential.

A Year of Industry Recognition
Several major industry organizations have now recognized Breeze’s achievements. The Centre for Aviation (CAPA) named it the 2025 Startup Airline of the Year. It then earned a Four-Star Low-Cost Carrier rating from the 2025 Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) Five-Star and Four-Star Airline Awards.
This places Breeze among the top 100 airlines globally for passenger experience. Furthermore, Breeze has consistently ranked among Travel + Leisure’s “Best Domestic Airlines.”
Breeze offers a “Seriously Nice” travel experience, combining premium seating, high-speed Wi-Fi on its new Airbus A220-300 aircraft, and flexible fare options.
Passengers can choose bundled packages or à la carte services to customize their travel. Breeze bundles offer full flexibility and add-ons like baggage, seat selection, and in-flight Wi-Fi.
