Avianca has launched Insignia, its premium Business Class service, on Boeing 787 Dreamliner flights connecting Europe.

This enhanced experience delivers unmatched comfort and exclusivity at every touchpoint, setting a new standard for transatlantic luxury travel.

The centerpiece of Insignia is its state-of-the-art flatbed seating, designed for the ultimate in-flight relaxation.

These innovative seats recline fully to 180 degrees, offering passengers complete privacy and abundant space for both work and rest. Each seat features a crisp 16-inch entertainment screen, ensuring hours of in-flight enjoyment with a vast selection of movies, shows, and music.

Showcasing Latin American Cuisine

Culinary excellence takes center stage with Insignia’s distinctive dining program, elevating airplane food to restaurant-quality cuisine.

Award-winning Colombian chefs Álvaro Clavijo and Catalina Vélez, both recognized in The Best Chef Awards, have crafted an exclusive menu for all European flights from Bogotá.

Their creations skillfully blend local Colombian ingredients with refined cooking techniques, bringing an authentic taste of South America to the skies. Each dish tells a story of regional flavors while maintaining the sophistication expected in premium air travel.

“Insignia represents more than just luxury travel,” says Manuel Ambriz, Avianca’s Chief Commercial Officer. “It’s our platform to showcase Colombia’s and Latin America’s finest culinary talent, cultural heritage, and natural diversity.”

“We’ve created a service that transforms Business Class travel to and from Europe by blending innovation with tradition, offering passengers an authentic Latin American experience from the moment they step onboard.”

The attention to detail continues with the new premium offering. Passengers will receive specially curated amenity kits featuring collectible cases that showcase Colombia’s rich cultural heritage.

These unique cases display designs by Mola Sasa, created in partnership with the Gunadule indigenous community, celebrating traditional artisanship. The kits include premium Loto del Sur products, carefully selected to enhance passenger comfort and well-being throughout their journey.

European Routes Offering Insignia

Insignia by Avianca is being offered on these European routes:

  • Bogotá to/from: London, Paris, Madrid, and Barcelona
  • Cali to/from Madrid

These carefully selected routes connect major Colombian cities with key European destinations, facilitating both business and leisure travel across the Atlantic.
