According to data from Anuvu, a leading aviation data services company, Avelo Airlines claimed the top spot for on-time performance in June.

The numbers stand as a testament to Avelo’s commitment to punctuality. In June, a respectable 84.3% of Avelo flights arrived at their destinations within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time.
This metric, known as A14, is the Department of Transportation’s standard for measuring on-time performance in the U.S. airline industry.
Avelo’s A14 score significantly outpaced the industry average of 73.6% and even surpassed the second-place carrier’s 78.62% by a considerable margin.
Cancellation Rates
Equally noteworthy is Avelo’s cancellation rate of just 0.12% in June, a figure that stands in stark contrast to the industry average of 1.26%.
To put this into perspective, out of the 1,653 Avelo flights scheduled for the month, only two were cancelled.
This level of reliability has been maintained for the entirety of 2024 thus far. Avelo leads the industry with an A14 of 84.1% and a year-to-date cancellation rate of merely 0.24%.
