Braathens Regional Airlines To Operate The Route…
Austrian Airlines noted also that the Linz-Frankfurt flights will be operated by their “partner” Braathens Regional Airlines.
The carrier will utilize the ATR 72 for these flights.
Furthermore, the configuration for the aircraft is as follows, as per Planespotters.net:
- 72 seats in all Economy.
It is key to note that there is also nothing to stop the airline from re-configuring the cabin to allow for business class seats as well.
Overall…
In conclusion, the Linz-Frankfurt flights through Austrian Airlines/Braathens Regional Airlines will be good news for those living in the Austrian city.
Furthermore, the three daily flights will offer strong flexibility into the German mega-hub.
Looking ahead, all eyes will be on how the flights perform over the Winter season.
If they perform well, then there could be scope to extend the contract with Braathens to operate more flights in the future.
