An American Eagle regional flight operating from Tulsa to Miami declared an emergency whilst on approach to the destination airport earlier this afternoon.
American/Envoy Air flight AA3367, an Embraer E170-200LR inbound from Tulsa International Airport (TUL) declared the emergency with transponder code 7700 on the approach.

Flight crew squawked transponder code 7700 during the final stages of the approach, as the aircraft passed through 1,000 feet.
The reason for the emergency declaration is not yet known.
The aircraft continued its approach and the flight then landed at Miami International Airport (MIA) at 0853 local time.

The flight then proceeded normally, climbing to flight level FL350 (35,000 feet) for the domestic service to Miami, FL.
Descent and approach procedures were then conducted normally, with squawk code 7700 transmitted at 12:40 UTC as the aircraft passed 1,000 feet on final approach.
