Pegasus Airlines to receive 3 A321neo aircraft from Jackson Square Aviation

LONDON – Aircraft lessor Jackson Square Aviation has announced the financing of three additional Airbus A321neo aircraft to Turkish LCC Pegasus Airlines, completing a four aircraft package.

“We are delighted to have worked closely with Pegasus and Airbus on completing the financing of these four A321neo aircraft” said, Christophe Million-Rousseau, SVP Marketing & Capital Markets EMEA.

He added, “This transaction reflects our strong partnership with Pegasus, and demonstrates our commitment to creating tailored fleet solutions and financing the latest technology fuel-efficient aircraft to meet our customers’ progressive business goals.”

“We are pleased to expand our relationship with JSA with financing of four A321neo aircraft. JSA’s tailored fleet financing solution has added value to our financing portfolio.”

Responding on behalf of the operator, Tamer Yüzüak, EVP, Finance and Fleet Management of Pegasus Airlines said: “Pegasus Airlines is vigorous in finding the most appropriate product while diversifying our financing resources sustainably.”

“We are now operating 95 aircraft as of today, almost 75% of our fleet consisting of new technology CFM LEAP-1A powered A320neo family aircraft.”

“As of October 2021, we are among the leading airlines that adopted IATA’s “2050 Net Zero Carbon Emissions”, our commitment to grow with environmentally friendly new generation Airbus NEO Aircraft family aircraft also contributes to achieve our targets to “Fly Net Zero”,” he added.
