LONDON – On December 5, the India ULCC (ultra low-cost carrier), IndiGo announced that it will be heavily expanding its connectivity between India and Europe.

Improving European Connectivity

As part of their codesharing partnership with Turkish Airlines, IndiGo is going to be heavily expanding their connectivity into Europe from December 7, 2022.

All of these codeshare services will be operated by Turkish Airlines then the passengers will be transferred between both Turkish Airlines’ and IndiGo’s daily services from Istanbul to India.

The following is the list of 32 new codeshare connections that will begin from December 7. All times are local –

• Flight 6E 4155 – Milan to Istanbul operated on a daily basis departing at 07.05 am and arriving at 11.55 am.
• Flight 6E 4100 – Istanbul to Milan operated on a daily basis departing at 12.35 pm and arriving at 13.35 pm.
• Flight 6E 4157 – Milan to Istanbul operated on a daily basis departing at 14.25 pm and arriving at 19.10 pm.
• Flight 6E 4106 – Istanbul to Milan operated on a daily basis departing at 20.30 pm and arriving at 21.30 pm.
• Flight 6E 4156 – Milan to Istanbul operated on Wednesdays and Saturdays departing at 11.20 am and arriving at 16.10 pm.
• Flight 6E 4105 – Istanbul to Milan operated daily except on Tuesdays and Sundays departing 17.05 pm and arriving at 18.00 pm.
• Flight 6E 4156 – Milan to Istanbul operated daily except Wednesdays and Saturdays departing at 10.45 am and arriving at 15.35 pm.

• Flight 6E 4121 – Istanbul to Manchester operated on a daily basis departing at 08.45 am and arriving at 10.05 am.
• Flight 6E 4173 – Manchester to Istanbul operated on a daily basis departing at 10.55 am and arriving at 18.00 pm.
• Flight 6E 4122 – Istanbul to Manchester operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays departing at 11.45 am and arriving at 13.05 pm.
• Flight 6E 4123 – Istanbul to Manchester operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays departing at 14.10 pm and arriving at 15.25 pm.
• Flight 6E 4174 – Manchester to Istanbul operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays departing at 16.50 pm and arriving at 23.45 pm.
• Flight 6E 4124 – Istanbul to Birmingham operated daily except Tuesdays and Fridays departing at 08.55 am and arriving at 10.15 am.
• Flight 6E 4175 – Birmingham to Istanbul operated daily except Tuesdays and Fridays departing at 11.05 am and arriving at 18.00 pm.
• Flight 6E 4186 – Istanbul to Rome operated on a daily basis departing at 09.20 am and arriving at 10.00 am.
• Flight 6E 4183 – Rome to Istanbul operated on a daily basis departing at 11.00 am and arriving at 15.30 pm.
• Flight 6E 4188 – Istanbul to Rome operated on a daily basis departing at 13.05 pm and arriving at 13.45 pm.
• Flight 6E 4189 – Rome to Istanbul operated on a daily basis departing at 14.50 pm and arriving at 19.15 pm.

• Flight 6E 4161 – Venice to Istanbul operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays departing at 14.40 pm and arriving at 19.10 pm.
• Flight 6E 4162 – Venice to Istanbul operated on a daily basis departing at 19.00 pm and arriving at 23.30 pm.

• Flight 6E 4105, from December 11 – Istanbul to Milan operated on Tuesdays and Sundays departing at 16.30 pm and arriving at 17.25 pm.

Overall

It is great to see IndiGo expanding their codesharing options through Turkish Airlines to reach much more of Europe.

Maybe this is a sign to come for them, especially once the carrier receives the A321XLR’s they have on order, we may see them operating their own services to Europe rather than just the connections through Istanbul.
