LONDON – In the last few moments, the France National Team has landed back in Paris from Doha on Air France’s Boeing 777-200ER.

The flight landed around an hour and a half late, following a late departure from the Qatari capital.

France is runners-up in the FIFA World Cup 2022 following their defeat to the newly crowned champions Argentina in a fiery 120 minutes plus a penalty shootout last night.

The Champions Are Still Enroute…

The champions of the football tournament, Argentina, are still on their way back to the capital of Buenos Aires.

AR1915 departed from Doha earlier today and landed in Rome first on a technical and fuel stop.

From there, it departed Rome at 1634 local time and was due to land in Ezeiza at 1915 local time.

Based on the scenes in Buenos Aires over the last 48 hours, the team will be welcomed by hundreds of thousands of fans.

Third-Placers Croatia Landed Yesterday…

Croatia Airlines brought back the country’s national football team home after a secured third-place victory in the FIFA World Cup 2022.

9A-CTH was the Airbus A319 that operated the flight today between Doha and Zagreb, with the football team onboard.

The Croatian national football team made it all of the way through to the Semi-Finals before subsequently losing to the new World Cup champions, Argentina.

This placed the team into a third-place play-off against Morocco, in which they beat the team 2-1.

This is a developing story.
