Copa Airlines (NYSE: CPA) has further bolstered its US presence, inaugurating a new route connecting Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).

This inauguration marks Copa’s 16th destination in the United States, solidifying their presence in the North American market.  It offers passengers in the Research Triangle a world of new travel possibilities.

This connects RDU to the airline’s robust network across North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean.

Access to the Research Triangle

“This new route to Raleigh-Durham strengthens our presence in the United States,” said David DeFossey, Regional Commercial Manager, North America for Copa Airlines.

“It allows our passengers greater connectivity and access to the Research Triangle area of North Carolina, the state’s hub of innovation and technology.”

“Serving a new destination allows us to offer our passengers quick and convenient connections to an ever-growing network across the continent, increasing commercial exchange opportunities and tourism development in the region.”

The addition of Raleigh-Durham to Copa’s network complements their existing services to major U.S. cities like Atlanta, Austin, and Miami.

This expansion demonstrates Copa’s commitment to providing high-quality service and connecting passengers to key economic and cultural centers across the Americas.

Business travelers in the Research Triangle can now leverage Copa’s extensive network to reach key markets in Latin America, fostering international trade and collaboration.
