WARSAW – LOT Polish Airlines has acquired its seventh Embraer E190. This becomes the 40th Embraer in LOT’s fleet. The additional aircraft will increase LOT’s capacity in the summer season. The aircraft starts flying with passengers on Friday 10th June.
Embraer (MSN19000487) and SP-LMH registration, is leased from Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC).
The repositioning route (June 8) of flight LO9004 was: Bydgoszcz Airport (BZG) – Oslo (OSL) – Warsaw (WAW). This is most probably due to lessor issues.
The newest E190 was produced in October 2011 and it was delivered to Air Astana. Then, after being withdrawn by the Kazakh carrier, the aircraft was parked by NAC at Bydgoszcz Airport from 2019 to 2022.
LOT’s new acquisition, like the other E190s, takes 106 passengers on board. The Embraer does not yet have LOT Polish Airlines colours, but it will receive them in Warsaw at LOT AMS maintenance facility.
