ATI Beluga XL registered F-GXLI, operating as flight BGA1231 declared the emergency with transponder code 7700.

Having declared an emergency earlier this afternoon, flight BGA123, an Airbus Beluga, has now expedited a diversion and landed at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS). The nature of the emergency is yet to be confirmed.
Flight Details
Airbus Transport International BGA1231 had departed from Saint-Nazaire Montoir Airport (SNR) at 1332 local time this afternoon. The flight was originally bound for Airbus Airfield Hamburg-Finkenwerder (XFW).
Having set course normally, the flight then climbed to FL340 (34,000 feet) for the transit flight to Hamburg. The flight then commenced a descent, squawking transponder code 7700 as it passed through FL270 at 1226 UTC.
The aircraft then continued a descent to 10,000 feet, before proceeding at the reduced altitude to the diversion airport Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS).
The aircraft conducting this afternoon’s service was an Airbus A330-700L Beluga, registered F-GXLI. This is a 4.2 year old heavy transport aircraft belonging to the carrier Airbus Transport International (ATI). It has been in operational service with the carrier since October 2020.
