Air Serbia and China Southern Airlines, the flag carriers of Serbia and China respectively, have strengthened their partnership with a new code-share agreement.

This allows passengers to seamlessly connect to over 20 destinations within China Southern’s extensive network.

These destinations include key cities in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland), and Southeast Asia (Singapore, Phuket, Bangkok). It also extends to other major hubs in Asia (Seoul, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur).

Conversely, China Southern Airlines will place its marketing code on both Air Serbia’s direct flights between Belgrade and Guangzhou, as well as on the Belgrade-Shanghai route.

This provides passengers from southern China with convenient connections via Belgrade to 21 destinations across Europe, including popular cities like Berlin, Milan, Zurich, and Bologna.

“We are delighted to expand our partnership with China Southern Airlines, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding earlier this year,” said Jiří Marek, Air Serbia CEO.

“The introduction of direct flights between Belgrade and Guangzhou and Shanghai has opened up significant opportunities for our passengers. This code-share agreement allows us to offer seamless connections to a wider range of destinations across both airlines’ networks, making travel easier and more convenient.”
