“For some, it’s about the convenience of real-time sharing, while for others, it’s about maximizing productivity. Regardless of the reason, we believe our guests will appreciate the ability to stay connected on board and enhance their overall Air India experience.”
How it Works:
Passengers can easily access Wi-Fi on their laptops, tablets, and smartphones with iOS or Android operating systems. Multiple devices can be connected simultaneously when flying above 10,000 feet.
- Enable Wi-Fi: Turn on Wi-Fi on your device.
- Select Network: Choose the “Air India Wi-Fi” network.
- Access Portal: You’ll be automatically redirected to the Air India portal on your device’s default browser.
- Enter Details: Enter your Passenger Name Record (PNR) and last name.
- Enjoy: Enjoy complimentary internet access during your flight.
A Growing Network
The rollout of Wi-Fi on domestic routes follows a successful pilot program on international flights operated by Airbus A350, select Airbus A321neo, and Boeing 787-9 aircraft serving destinations such as New York, London, Paris, and Singapore.
As part of the initial launch, Wi-Fi is being offered complimentary to passengers. The airline plans to gradually expand Wi-Fi services to other aircraft in its fleet over time.
