Air India ‘AI’ Code Mumbai-Nairobi

The partnership enables Air India to extend its ‘AI’ code to Kenya Airways’ twice-daily Mumbai-Nairobi flights, creating an expanded network of possibilities.

Through this arrangement, passengers can smoothly connect through Mumbai to Air India services reaching key destinations including Bangkok, Colombo, Dhaka, Malé, Melbourne, and Singapore.

These new routes complement the existing connections available via Delhi for travelers flying from Nairobi, substantially expanding travel options for passengers.

Kenya Airways customers also gain significant advantages, with the airline’s ‘KQ’ code now appearing on Air India’s Delhi-Nairobi route. This strategic addition enables travelers from across Africa to access Delhi through Nairobi more efficiently, opening up new possibilities for business and leisure travelers alike.

“This expanded partnership with Kenya Airways perfectly aligns with Air India’s strategic objectives to grow globally and strengthen our market presence,” explains Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer at Air India.
