As per Planespotters, VT-ALG is a 15.0 year old Boeing 777-200LR that was delivered to the airline in July 2009.
Moreover, of the 777-200 variant, the airline has 19 of them in their fleet.
Furthermore, of that 19, all but three are in active service, with an average fleet age of 13.7 years.

Air India has sent VT-AEQ, a Boeing 777-300ER to pick up the stranded passengers from Krasnoyarsk, and will be ferrying the passengers onwards to San Francisco.
