In the last few moments, an Air France Airbus A220 operating a flight from Paris to Marseille has declared an emergency.

AF7334 has stopped it’s descent at FL200, and looks to be continuing on to MRS.

Furthermore, it is unclear what the reason for the emergency is at this stage.

About F-HZUK: The Air France Airbus A220 Involved in the Emergency on AF7334 Paris-Marseille…

F-HZUK is the aircraft involved in today’s incident.

As per Planespotters, F-HZUK is a 2.0 year old Airbus A220-300 that was delivered to the airline back in July 2022.

Also, of the A220-300 variant, AF has 36 of them in their fleet.

Within that 36, all but eight are in active service, with an average fleet age of 1.5 years.

Continuing Descent…

AF7334 is not far away from it’s destination, as the aircraft descends through 7,000 feet.

Furthermore, there is still no official cause as of yet into the cause of the emergency.

AF7334 is now on final approach into MRS, with the emergency landing expected imminently.
