In the last few moments, an Air France Boeing 777 operating AF702 between Paris & Abidjan has declared an emergency.

AF702 has made a u-turn over Andorra and looks to be making a return to CDG following the emergency declaration.

About F-GSQV: The Air France Boeing 777 Involved in the Emergency on AF702…

Also, F-GSQV is understood to be the aircraft involved in this incident.

As per Planespotters, F-GSQV is a 17.2 year old Boeing 777-300ER that was delivered to AF in May 2007.

Furthermore, of the 777-300ER variant, the airline has 43 of them in their fleet.

Moreover, all of them are in active service, with an average fleet age of 15.9 years.

Furthermore, the aircraft is now climbing at 3,000 feet per minute and is tracking north.
