The new Airbus A321XLR extended range variant has now officially entered commercial service with Iberia's first aircraft operating from Madrid to Boston on 14 November.

In a move to bridge eastern and western markets, Icelandair will introduce a direct service between Keflavík and Istanbul in September 2025.
